Tats 4 Tots helps kids in need

Greensburg — Tattoo artist and owner of Rebelution Studios, Mark Walls, wants to help the kids left out of  Shop with a Cop.

This year Shop with a Cop took 100 kids from families in need clothes shopping with $110. Unfortunately, some kids were left out of the opportunity due to limited funds.

In response, Mark Walls has organized a raffle in which all proceeds will go to shopping for clothes and toys for kids with families in need.

The grand prize of the raffle is a $500 tattoo.

There will be a second raffle with a grand prize of a $50 tattoo. Both raffles will have first, second, and third runner ups.

All proceeds will go to Tats 4 Tots, and the raffle winnings can be given to another person if tattoos are not of interest to the winner. People can enter the raffle as many times as they would like.

I just want to help out the community,  said Walls. Walls moved to Greensburg in 2001, and Tats 4 Tots would be his first charitable event.

Having used the list used by Greensburg Fraternal Order of Police during Shop with a Cop, Walls already knows whom he will take shopping. He will have assistance organizing from Deputy Steve Snyder of the Greensburg Police Department, and Sheriff s Department officer Jarrod McCalvin.

Walls is also accepting donations in the form of food, clothing, shoes and toys. People giving monetary donations of more than $100 can receive a discount on a $100 tattoo.

Right now he has collected around $400 in donations and raffle tickets. Walls expressed that he wants to be able to help much more than four kids with Tats 4 Tots.

I don t benefit at all,  Walls said,  This is for the kids. We will personally be bringing the children shopping to insure the children get proper fitting clothes and shoes, toys that they really deserve.

The raffle drawing will be Saturday, December 15, with refreshments being served.

Tickets are $15 to enter the $500 tattoo raffle, and $1 for the $50 tattoo raffle.

Rebelution Studios is located at 120 N Franklin St, on the square, and can be contacted at 812-663-8696.
