Greensburg —
Sara Lea Schoettmer of Greensburg and Robert Frank Dickey Jr. of Hope were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 at Greensburg United Methodist Church with W. Richard Waddle officiating.
The wedding party consisted of Rachel Grider, Matron of Honor; Megan Massie, maid of honor; Christy Vanderpohl, Melissa Wade and Dakotah Artis, bridesmaids; Vivianne Leland, flower girl; Jared Dickey, Best Man; JD Dickey, Best Man; Matt Vanderpohl, Eric Wade and Parker Shoaf, groomsman and usher; and JJ Dickey, ring bearer.
They celebrated their union in marriage with a reception dinner and dance at the Batesville Knights of Columbus Hall, with a great time enjoyed by all. The new couple took a honeymoon to the Outer Banks of North Carolina over Fall Break. They are now residing in Greensburg.
Sara is the daughter of Stanley and Carol Shoettmer of Greensburg. She is a 2005 graduate of North Decatur High School and a 2009 graduate of IUPUC with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is currently employed at Head Start as a preschool teacher, as well as First Federal Savings and Loan as a teller.
Rob is the son of Bob and Mary Dickey of Hope. He is a 2001 graduate of Hauser High School and a 2008 graduate of Ivy Tech with an associate of science degree in criminal justice. Rob is currently employed by Wiese GM-Toyota in Taylorsville, as well as Advance Auto Parts in Columbus.
