The South Decatur girls basketball team fell to hosting South Ripley Tuesday, 51-40. South trailed 20-9 after the first quarter, but went on an 8-4 run to make it 24-17 at the half.
Junior Julia Miller led South with another 20-point game, scoring a game-high 20 points.
South is now 2-7 on the season.
