With their second two-game winning streak of the season, the Lady Pirates improve to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the EIAC.
Lawrenceburg falls to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
The win also lifed Greensburg’s scoring margin of victory on the season into the positives for the first time this season.
Leading the Lady Pirates was junior Joanna Redelman, who scored 14 points. Senior Clare Owens followed with 10 points, while senior Shelby Ward and sophomore Abbey Denton each scored eight points. Sophomore Jessica Banaschak added five, while freshmen Taylor McIntosh and Keauna Schultz each chipped in two.
The Greensburg junior varsity team defeated the Lady Tigers 36-25 in the first game. Sophomore Megan Schmidt led her team with 12 points. Freshman Maddi Hellmich scored eight points, while freshman Kasey Moeller, sophomore Kalynne Asche and junior Sydney Wettering each added five. Megan Schmidt chipped in one.
Greensburg has a chance to build on its conference ranking with a home game against South Dearborn Thursday night.
