Rushville —
The Greensburg girls golf team visited Rushville Tuesday night, along with Knightstown, for a 3 way meet.
Sara Treash led the Pirates to a second-place finish with a 46 and tied with Knightstown's No. 1 golfer for co-medalist.
"Sara hit the ball well but took a triple bogey on her last hole," said Greensburg coach Terry Alverson. Otherwise, she wins medalist honors and she has her best round to date."
Rushville won the meet with 194, followed by Greensburg at 211 then Knightstown at 214.
"Ella Westhafer is playing well and shot a 50," said Alverson. "Ella is really working on implementing the techniques we have been working on, and she is slowly lowering her score each time out."
Alexis Crist shot a 57, Hayley Williams carded a 58, and Tori Giddings had a 60 to round out Greensburg's scoring.
"Alexis is staying fairly consistent and has improved tremendously from three weeks ago," said Alverson. "Hayley and Tori had a few strokes more than they have been shooting, but I think it was just one of those rounds you chalk up to experience."
Greensburg hosts Jennings County Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
