Greensburg —
The South Decatur boys basketball team began the season with a 49-34 win over visiting Trinity Lutheran Tuesday night.
Senior Byron Balser and junior Taylor Kopplin each led South with 12 points. Senior Cameron Agnew scored eight, junior Chris Johannigman scored six and senior Josh Miller added four. Senior Ben Tichenor scored three, while senior Jordan Hatton and junior Andrew Wullenweber each added two.
The South junior varsity team lost 32-11 in the first game.
The Cougars next host Oldenburg Academy Saturday, Nov. 24.
