Aqua Pirates advance in Sectional

Columbus — Aqua Pirates advance in Sectional



A Greensburg sophomore and a relay team advanced to the championship heats of the Columbus North boys swimming sectionals Thursday night.

Junior Nick Oesterling took seventh place in the 100-yard backstroke event, clocking a time of 59.75 seconds to advance.

The Greensburg 400-yard relay team of Brady Niles, James Reiger, Justin Starkey and Nicholas Oesterling clocked a time of 3:46.10 to punch their ticket to Saturday’s championships.
