Greensburg 8A Boys Suffer Season’s First Loss

The Greensburg Pirates, Boys 8th grade A-Team basketball traveled to Connersville Monday night and came home with their first loss of the season, 44-41.

“The team played well, we just ran out of steam,” said coach Phil Snodgress.

The Pirates’ record stands at 3-1.

Leading the Pirates in scoring was Macy Holdworth will 18 points and four assists, Sean Sellers 10 points, five assists, and eight rebounds, Ethan Sebastian six points, Brad Wilson four points, and Tye Fleetwood three points.

Eric Kroger, Tom Lawrence, Jacob Kelso played, but did not score.

Black led the Spartans with 17, Harlan and Neukam nine each, Coles seven and Fitzgerald two.

The Pirates’ next game will be against Sunman-Dearborn Dec. 3 in the Greensburg Junior High Gym at 5:30 p.m.
