Brad Keselowski outdueled race leader Jimmie Johnson after the final pit stop to earn a big win in the GEICO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Keselowski, with his hard earned win, took the lead in the 2012 NASCAR Chase for the Championship. His Chicagoland win was Keselowski's fourth win of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season and eighth of his career.
Keselowski has 2056 points in the Chase followed by Johnson (who finished second at Chicagoland) with 2,053 points, followed by Columbus, Ind. native and 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup champ Tony Stewart with 2,048 points in third place.
The second race in the 10-race 2012 Chase to the NASCAR Sprint Cup title swings east to New Hampshire Motor Speedway next weekend for the annual Sylvan 400.
