Morristown —
The North Decatur eighth grade girls basketball team traveled to Morristown Monday for the first-round game of the MHC tournament.
The Lady Chargers faced the host Morristown team and came home with a 36-15 win.
Chelsea Hitchcock finished the night with 13 points, seven assists and five rebounds.
Olivia Siefert tallied 10 points eight rebounds and three steals. Addy Osting and Ally Gauck each finished with four points. Emily McCorkle and Meredith Fogle added two.
Finishing the scoring for the young Lady Chargers was Casey Ogden with one point. Mariah Lozier grabbed six rebounds and four steals. Laury Wysong came of the bench and finished with four rebounds and three steals. Stasha Caudill chipped in two steals for the Chargers.
