The North Decatur junior high volleyball teams split against Southwestern-Shelby last week.
The eighth graders fell to SW-Shelby 16-25, 20-25. Meredith Fogle served 1-12 with 8 points. Olivia Siefert served 7-7 with 5 points and hit 6-6 with 3 kills.
The seventh graders won 25-15, 25-23, improving to 4-1 on the season. Megan Flynn served 14-14 with 11 points. Sarah Bohman served 8-8 with 4 points. Hannah Fortner hit 4-5 with 1 point, Rhegan Day hit 2-3 with 2 points and Rosetta Schwartz hit 5-5 with 2 points. Kiara Nobbe hit 3-4. Bohman set 5-5 and Lily Meyer set 6-6.
