Greensburg — Everyone needs a hero from time to time. Fortunately for the Lady Pirates, they have their own Dynamic Duo.
Greensburg seniors Chas Lecher and Melanie Trammell are this week’s Greensburg Daily News female co-athletes of the week after a scoring onslaught over the last three games. Trammell and Lecher have combined for 101 points out of 187 in Greensburg’s three wins, two of which were vital conference games. Lecher notched 15 against Lawrenceburg, 18 against Franklin County and 18 versus Jac-Cen-Del. Trammell scored 18, 12, and 20, respectively.
For continued success and almost complete dominance, the Greensburg Daily News names Chas Lecher and Melanie Trammell Female Co-Athletes of the Week.
