At least two dozen kids participated in the opening night of the South Decatur Junior High Football Camp Monday at the high school.
Varsity coach Rodney Martin and his coaches split the campers into two units to work on offensive plays and blocking drills, as well as defensive drills.
The camp, which will last until Thursday, takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every night.
