Pirate 7A girls beat Greendale
The 7A Lady Pirates traveled to Lawrenceburg Saturday and defeated Greendale by a score of 63-4.

Bailey Meyer 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 blocked shot, 4 assists.
Kyra Whitaker 8 points, 5 rebounds, 7 steals, 2 blocked shots, 5 assists.
Ashlynn Meyer 6 points, 2 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists.
Sierra Johnson 6 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 assist.
Kirstin Hersley 6 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal.
Ashley Bower 6 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal.

Pirate 8th girls fall
The Greensburg girls eighth grade basketball team fell to host Greendale Saturday 39-29.
The girls fought hard and were able to keep the score within points until Greendale pulled ahead at the end. Scoring for the Pirates: Sydney Meyer 9, Gabby Burton 8, Samantha Cain 6, Claire Fleetwood 5, Callie Black 1.
Columbus Boomer tryouts offered
The Columbus Boomers will be having tryouts for their Spring girls AAU season. It will be at the Foundation For Youth on Feb. 26 and 27.
On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be from 5:30-7 p.m. On Wednesday, Feb. 27, Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be from 5:30-7 p.m., and grades 7 and 8 will be from 7-8:30 p.m.

Greensburg Youth Baseball signups set
Greensburg Youth Baseball League has announced signup dates. Signups will take place Saturdays beginning Feb. 23 through March 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The league will conduct signups on Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 26 through March 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Signups will take place at the Decatur County Parks Department.
Registrations are avaialabe at signup or at the Parks Department.

The Decatur County Tiger Sharks competed against the Batesville Swim Team Monday night.

All boys entering grades seven through 12 this fall at North Decatur, and planning on playing football for North this fall, there will be a parent meeting in the high school gym Monday.
