Greensburg — The Male Co-Athletes of the Week are the members of the Greensburg boys cross country teams.
The boys squad defeated Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference rivals Franklin County and Lawrenceburg Thursday.
Zack Powell and Ian Frink led for most of the race until a Franklin County runner finished strong. Powell took second and Frink placed third. Tommy Richardson finished sixth, Colt Hyatt took seventh and Ethan Loechle palced eighth.
Colin Evans broke the 20-minute mark for the second straight race, finishing fifth overall. Freshman Travis Zeigler finished ninth in his best time ever. Tyler Luber, Adrian Shellabarger, Kevin Lewis and Adam Swinford finished between 12th and 18th, close to a pack.
Rounding out the boys race was Christian Fox and Devan Baker.
The boys improve to 27-25 on the season, but went over the .500 mark this week. They are 6-1 in dual meets and undefeated at home.
