Pirate kickers awarded season honors

Greensburg — The Greensburg boys soccer team conducted its end-of-season awards ceremony last month.

Awarded the Most Valuable Player is senior Tyler Burcham. The most improved player was sophomore Jeremy Meadows, while senior Edgar Cruz was named the most dedicated player. The Rookie of the Year was sophomore Spencer Kuehl.

Winning All Conference in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference were senior defender Riley Billieu, senior goalkeeper Austin Schultz and Burcham.

Earning First-Team All District by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association was Burcham, the first time Greensburg was represented.

Senior Chase McCreary was named on the All-Academic Team, while Edgar Cruz was named an ISCA Top Team Player.
