Greensburg —
The North Decatur girls golf team wrapped up a week of competing for three straight days, culminating in a dual win over Oldenburg Academy Thursday.
The Chargers competed in a 3-way match Wednesday afternoon against county rival South Decatur and East Central.
Hauser's Katie Whiteside, who played along with South's schedule because the Jets do not have a team, won meet medalist honors on the front nine Par 36 of Grand Oak Golf Course.
North shot a 203, East Central shot a 227, and South posted an incomplete score with just two golfers. Whiteside carded a 47.
Allie Acton led North for the first time this season, carding a 50.
"This was an interesting night for our girls," said North head coach Dan Borns. "Grand Oak is not a very forgiving course, and we don't play there very often. The course is different than what the girls are used to, and this led to a few scores that were higher than average."

North's Tara Lecher and Oldenburg's Norah Stacey shared co-medalist honors with a 47.
