Greensburg — The Greensburg Junior High Pirates wrestling team started its final week of the season by defeating Milan 75-30 in its final home meet of the year.
The Pirates won 13 of the 18 matches wrestled. Winning matches for the Pirates were Brandon Butz, Dakota Deiwert, Taylor Reed, Blake Wood, Joe Buening, Bryce Bennett, Blake Butz, Birzavit Estrada, Joel Chase, Corey Hitch, Andrew Douglas, Colten Black, and Matt Scheumann. Jacob Kelso won by forfeit.
Winning in exhibition matches were Devin Ruble, Scott Dorsett, Doug Cain, and Brandon Butz.
The Pirates' last dual meet is Thursday 5:30 p.m. at Benjamin Rush Middle School. The Pirates will also wrestle in the Brookville Invitational tournament 10 a,m, Saturday at Franklin County High School.
