Decatur County sports digest announcements for March 15

Greensburg — Posted below are the Decatur County sports digest announcements for March 15.



SCHEDULE

Class 3A South Semi-State at Richmond H.S.

- GB boys basketball vs Mt. Vernon (Fortville), 3:15





Regional ticket sales set

Greensburg High School will play Mt. Vernon (Fortville) in the semi-state at Richmond High School tomorrow at 3:15 p.m.

Greensburg will play the second game following the 1 p.m. Class 2A Speedway-Linton Stockton game.

Tickets can be purchased in the Greensburg athletic office today until 12 noon.

Tickets for the semi-state are $8.



Pep rally tonight for Pirate basketball

A pep session will take place tonight for the Greensburg boys basketball team at the high school, enabling the community to give the Pirates a send-off for the Semi-State game Saturday.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the session will begin at 6 p.m.



DCGSA signups underway

The Decatur County Girls Softball Association is taking registrations for slow pitch and fast pitch softball tomorrow and Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Armory (Park and Rec building).

Anyone with questions can call Phil Nobbe at 662-6511.



GYBL signups underway

Signups are set for the Greensburg Youth Baseball League. Signups will last through next Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The league will conduct signups on Tuesdays through March 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Signups will take place at the Decatur County Parks Department. Registrations are availabe at signup or at the Parks Department.
