South Eighth Girls Advance 60-2 Over Lancers
Morristown — The South Decatur junior high eighth grade girls basketball team advanced in the Mid-Hoosier Conference tournament with a 60-2 win over Edinburgh Wednesday.
Emmy Schabel led the junior Lady Cougars with 21 points. Julia Miller followed up with 13 points. Ashley Johannigman scored 10 points, while Lizzy Hedger and Courtney Billingsley scored seven apiece. Clarissa Baltus added two.
South advanced to the second round of the MHC Saturday at Morristown.
