Greensburg —
The Greensburg 7A boys basketball team hosted Jennings County with a 62-34 victory. Pressure defense and sharing the ball was key as the Pirates dished out 11 assists.
Greensburg led from the start 15-10 after the first quarter and 31-16 at the half. Luke Lozier scored 23 pts. and had eight boards to pace the Pirates.
Also, in double figures was Kyle Sellers with 11 pts., Cody Bischoff 9 pts., Nick Heil 7 pts., Ty Hall and Tucker Bailey with 5 pts. each.
Gus Gregory hit the final basket at the horn and finished with 2 pts. Heil had a nice game on the boards with seven rebounds. Brayton Owens and Sellers pulled down four each. Bailey had a season high four assists and had four steals. Gabe Caplinger also had one nice assist to Ty Hall on a break. Josh Ankney joined the 7A team tonight but did not score.
