GB boys at South Ripley
Pennies for Patients Friday at South
South Decatur High School will host a fundraiser for “Pennies for Patients” on Friday Feb. 15 at the South Decatur boys varsity basketball game against Edinburgh. The money goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. This is a competition against North Decatur, so please bring your change!!
The fundraiser will be a “Console Cleanout” Any change in your car’s console could be cleaned out and donated for the cause. There will be student’s collecting the change inside the school before the game. Thank you for your help and your donation to this worthy cause!
Columbus Boomer tryouts offered
The Columbus Boomers will be having tryouts for their Spring girls AAU season. It will be at the Foundation For Youth on Feb. 26 and 27.
On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be from 5:30-7 p.m. On Wednesday, Feb. 27, Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be from 5:30-7 p.m., and grades 7 and 8 will be from 7-8:30 p.m.

Spring registrations are still open for the Decatur County Youth Soccer program.

Parks and Rec offers swimming
The Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department is offering open swimming at the Greensburg Community High School. The pool will be open, free of charge, on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. continuing through Sunday, March 10. Non-swimmers under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
