Pirates Fall To Bulldogs 4-1 Monday

Batesville — The Greensburg boys tennis team took a loss to conference rival Batesville Monday on the road, 4-1.

Greensburg's Collin Rigney (3-0) defeated Connor Hagan at first singles, 7-5, 2-6, 6-2.

Tom Lawrence at second singles fell to Cassidy Kase 6-0, 6-0.

Mack Reed dropped a third singles match to Henry Luchow, 6-2, 6-2.

At first doubles, Riley Burkert and Craig Schebler lost to Billy Romweber and Mitchel Taylor, 6-0, 7-5.

At second doubles, Tyler Wickens and Kyle Stanley fell to Joe Fortkamp and Isaac Fullenkamp 6-0, 6-0.

In junior varsity action, Daniel Bautista lost at first singles. In JV doubles action, Kyle Colson and Sean Sellers lost.

Greensburg next plays Connersville Thursday afternoon at home.
