Class 3A State Championship
- GB boys basketball vs Fort Wayne Concordia, 6 p.m., Bankers Life Fieldhouse
State tickets still remain
Greensburg High School is selling reserved state boys basketball tickets in the Greensburg athletic office. Tickets still remain for upper-level seats. Sales will conclude today (Thursday) from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 and all fans over 24 months will need a ticket.
DCGSA signups underway
The Decatur County Girls Softball Association is taking registrations for slow pitch and fast pitch softball Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Armory (Park and Rec building).
Anyone with questions can call Phil Nobbe at 662-6511.
GYBL signups underway
Signups are set for the Greensburg Youth Baseball League. Signups will last through Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Signups will take place at the Decatur County Parks Department. Registrations are availabe at signup or at the Parks Department.

All 3 schools sending regional competitors
The Greensburg, South Decatur and North Decatur track and field teams turned in solid performances at the IHSAA Boys Track and Field Sectional meet at East Central Thursday.

Gatewood’s 9 RBI’s power South 14-0
The South Decatur varsity baseball team defeated host Crothersville 14-0 Friday night on the strength of senior Matt Gatewood’s nine runs batted in.

The Greensburg boys varsity golf team was victorious in a three-way match against Franklin County and Triton Central on the back nine at Greensburg Country Club.

Cougars win outright MHC on Senior Night
After snapping a 1-1 tie Thursday against visiting Morristown, the South Decatur baseball team clinched the outright conference title with a 10-3 win on Senior Night.

The Greensburg, North Decatur and South Decatur girls track and field teams competed in the Franklin County Sectional Tournament Tuesday.
