Batesville —
The Greensburg volleyball team fell to Batesville in three sets Tuesday in the Batesville Sectional 29 Volleyball tournament.
The Lady Pirates fell to the Lady Bulldogs 25-16, 25-18, 25-15 in a hard-fought match against a team seeking its eighth straight sectional title.
Taylor McIntosh led Greensburg in kills with five. She also tallied a team-high two service aces and led the team in blocks with two.
Senior Audrey Geis led the team with 18 digs.
Senior Clare Owens tallied three kills and one ace, while junior Claire Welage recorded two kills and a block.
Mackenzie Kovacich tallied one ace and a team-high eight assists.
Senior Heidi Dance had two kills, while Kaylie Wood had one kill and one block.
