Greensburg —

The Decatur County Youth Soccer Club spring soccer season opened on March 26 amidst the cool temperatures. With more than 150 youth participating, the matches were close and competitive all day long. The Blazers were victorious 3-1.
In the U10 division, the A&A Brushmowing Blasters defeated the Springmeyer Insurance Cyclones 3-0. Next, the ETC Communications Tornados defeated the Blasters 2-0 in the second contest.
Rounding out the day were the U12 and U14 intrasquad games. The U12 Houch Industries Gray defeated the Orange, 3-1. The U14 Levenstein's-Abbey Carpets Blue and Orange teams tied 3-3 all.
The U6 division was slated to start its season this past Saturday, along with week two contests at the U8, U10, U12 and U14 levels.
