Ivy Tech offers 18 local courses

Greensburg — Ivy Tech Community College - Columbus/Franklin is offering 18 different courses in its fall semester schedule in Greensburg.

Fall semester classes begin Monday, Aug. 20, and end Saturday, Dec. 15.

Classes will be held at the Greensburg Community Learning Center, 422 East Central Avenue in Greensburg. Individuals are encouraged to register soon since classes fill early.

Courses offered include introduction to business; introduction to microcomputers; fundamentals of public speaking; introduction to interpersonal communication; introduction to early childhood education; introduction to teaching; reading strategies for college; English composition; exposition and persuasion; first year seminar; new student seminar; fundamentals of algebra I; essentials of algebra II; concepts in mathematics; college algebra; introduction to psychology; and abnormal psychology.

Specific days and times during which these courses will be offered may be found by accessing Ivy Tech's interactive class schedule at www.ivytech.edu/columbus and selecting the 2012 Electronic Fall Class Schedule. A listing of classes in which a student is particularly interested may be downloaded for personal use in registering for classes.
