Local students participate in Purdue summer program

Greensburg — Several local students recently took their first steps toward becoming Boilermakers by participating in the annual STAR program at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus.

The participants included Jacob Mattox,  William Denton,  Conlin Durbin, Jordan Kramer, Nathan Redelman,  Jasmine Duvall,  Mitchell Reed,  Vanessa Lawrence, Kyle Wallpe, Colin Rayner, Jesse Elsner,  Hannah Gauck, Jill Seiter, all of Greensburg, and Brigit Ryan of Westport.

Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR) is Purdue's program for new undergraduate students to receive academic advice and create their initial course schedule. Incoming students select their one-day STAR session and come to Purdue's West Lafayette campus to conduct this and other important business.
