Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception congratulates seniors Sarah Gutman and Natalie Pottschmidt, who were chosen as finalists for the Dearborn County Community Foundation Lilly Scholarship.
The winners will be announced in late March or early April. This four year full tuition scholarship can be used at any Indiana public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
“Oldenburg Academy is very proud that we have two Lilly Scholarship finalists from our school,” said Mrs. Joleen Lancaster, Guidance Director. “We are excited for these students and their outstanding accomplishments!”
“The purpose of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is to help raise the level of educational attainment in Indiana and to leverage further the ability of Indiana’s community foundations to enhance the quality of life of state’s residents. Since the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program was first offered in 1998, Lilly Endowment has remained steadfast in its belief that education at all levels is indispensable to the personal, civic and economic well-being of Indiana’s residents and communities.”
