Lila J. Zeigler, 82

Greensburg — Lila J. Zeigler, 82, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Lila was born Aug. 31, 1930 in Benham, the daughter of William and Alta (Tunks) May.

Lila married Donald Zeigler  March 31, 1961 in Greensburg and he survives.

Other survivors include daughters: Mary Jane (Mike) Barnard of Westport, and Nancy (Bill) Dishner of Indianapolis; sons: Robert D. (Sandy) Smith of Greenfield, Thomas Zeigler of Indianapolis, and Steven (Vicki) Zeigler of Greensburg; sister Lora Swinney, brothers: Estol and Earl May; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents William and Alta, granddaughter Christina White, sister Evelyn Meeks, and three brothers: Leroy, Russell, and Stanley May.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.

Lila’s funeral service will begin at noon Friday, Dec. 7, also at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingston Cemetery Association.
