William A. “Bill” Slight, 60

Greensburg — William A. “Bill” Slight, 60, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Oswego, N.Y. Oct. 12, 1952, the son of William and Dorothy (Knauss) Slight.

He had worked as a dairy farmer in New York and then he had worked for STI after moving to Greensburg.

He was married to Rhonda Schumaker Aug. 15, 1992 and she survives.

He is also survived by four children: Johnathon A. Slight, Greensburg; Rachel Slight, Greensburg; Stanley Slight, Greensburg; Jennifer (Daniel) Denny, Phoenix, N.Y.; one brother, George Slight, Oswego, N.Y.; one sister, Sue Ladd, Oswego, N.Y.; and three grandchildren: Brittany, Daniel and Ashley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Dorothy Slight and Carolyn Haskins.

Private services will held for the family at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
