Donald Weiler, 83

Greensburg — Donald Weiler,  83, of Milroy, passed away Jan. 26, 2013 at his residence.

Don was born July 22, 1929 in Brookville, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Zinser) Weiler.

He was a 1947 graduate of Brookville High School, and he had farmed in the Milroy community since 1963.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville. He married Lucille Schwegman Feb. 6, 1951 and she survives.

Other Survivors include four daughters: Marilyn Weiler-Koster of Dixon, Ill., Darlene (Tim) Marlow of Milroy, Karen Jenkins of Milroy, Melissa (Danny) Lee of Greenwood; two sons Ron Weiler of Milroy and Kevin (Andrea) Weiler of Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters also survive.

He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law Donna and Tim Nisley in 1980, three sisters and three brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating.

Burial will follow at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Todd Funeral Centre and Crematory where all are welcome to come and recite the rosary at 3:45 p.m.
