Stella F. Berry, 85, passed away Jan. 21, 2013 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg.
Stella was born in Ross, Ohio on April 19, 1927 to Vesta Sure.
Stella had worked as a nurse’s aide at L.C. Dryer Nursing Home in Brookville, and was the personal housekeeper for the Hillenbrand Family in Batesville for many years.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Greensburg.
Survivors include; son, Rodney Berry, Greensburg, daughter, Tammy (Gilbert Jr.) Grimes, Brookville, granddaughter, Charity Goodin, Sunman, two great-grandchildren: Brian Michael James Goodin and Rodney Deo Louis Goodin, both of Sunman, and her two favorite nieces: Mary Kay Maple, Batesville, and Helen Metcalf, Greensburg.
Stella was preceded in death by her mother, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home Friday, Jan. 25.
Funeral Services will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, Ron St. John officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Greensburg.
