Terry Deem, 61 of Shelbyville passed away on March 11, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital of Indianapolis. She was born in Clay County, KY on February 13, 1949 the daughter of Edward and Mary Hollie (Brewer) Hollin. On January 15, 1981 at the Otterbein Methodist Church she married James Deem. She was a 1968 graduate of Greensburg Community High School and She retired from GM in 1994. She attended Lewis Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Husband- James Deem of Shelbyville, Daughter- Virginia (and David) Griffith of Shelbyville, Sister- Sandra (and Charles) Foster of Greensburg, Brothers- James Hollin of KY, Paul (and Linda) Hollin of Greenfield, Nathaniel (and Lois) Hollin of North Vernon, and Cosby (and Carol) Hollin of Columbus. She was preceded in death by: Sons- James Houston and James Deem Jr., and Brother Marion Hollin.
A visitation for family and friends was held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home Sunday, March 14, 2010. Friends may also call Monday, March 15 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Sandcreek Cemetery.
