Peter Clement Zillick, 70

Greensburg — Peter Clement Zillick, 70, of Greensburg, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at his home.

He was born March 2, 1942, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of Peter Paul and Lois Jean (Beihl) Zillick. He received a Master’s Degree from Xavier University in Business Management & Marketing. He was a Sales Manager for Sun Chemical Corporation until he retired in 2004.

He was a member of Reading-Lockland Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greensburg. He was also a member of the Lafayette Masonic Lodge, Cincinnati, Ohio. He served as President of the Decatur County Arts and Cultural Council, and on the Decatur County Memorial Hospital Gala Steering Committee. He also served on the Lake Santee Water Board.

He married Betty (Herzig) Zillick June 19, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and she survives at the home.

Peter is also survived by one daughter: Susan Lynne Zillick of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son: P. Scott (Sandy) Zillick of Guildford; one sister: Judith (Ronald) Doepker of Fairfield, Ohio; two grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Nathaniel Zillick. He’s also survived by one niece, one nephew and by seven Great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, from 10 a.m., until services at 12 p.m., with reverend Bob McAulay officiating. Burial will be in the Oakhill Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Decatur County Art’s Council, First Presbyterian Church or to Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
