Greensburg — Douglas D. Deppen, 71, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Doug was born Oct. 22, 1941 in Indianapolis, and was the son of Willis and Lois Deppen.

He grew up in Findlay, Ohio. In 1964 he married Bonnie Saunders, and she survives. Doug was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He worked most of his life in banking as a CPA, retiring from Union Bank and Trust.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie, his daughter Reverend Polly Deppen of North Platte, Neb.; and two brothers, Dennis Deppen of Boston, Penn., and Bruce Deppen of Findley, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a private family funeral service. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
