Loren R. (Ralph) Weber, 87, of Greensburg passed away on Nov. 29, 2009.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1922 in Greensburg, the son of Charles L. and Margaret "Maggie" Weber. He married Evelyn King on Sept. 21, 1941. Ralph was in the United States Army he served with the 99th Infintry Company E, Purple Heart recipient, fought in the Battle of the Bulge in the Hurt Gen Forrest. He was a Farmer and worked for the Railroad where he retired after 30 years of service as a supervisor. He was a member of the New Point Christian Church.

Survivors include: Wife- Evelyn Weber of Greensburg, Daughters- Donna Whitson of Cincinnati, Janet Miller of Greensburg, Sons- Dennis (Margie) Weber, David (Connie) Weber, James (Edna) Weber of Greensburg, Sister- Geneva Gibbons of Indianapolis, IN, 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister- Merle Clark, Brother- Dennis Weber.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009. Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the New Point Christian Church.
