Leo A. Forsting, 91

Leo A. Forsting, 91, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.

Born, Oct. 2, 1918 in Decatur Co., he was the son of John Henry and Mary Louise (Middendorf) Forsting.

Leo was a farmer and a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church.

He served in the Army in WW II.

He was married to Dolores M. Ziegelmeyer on August 11, 1956 and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2008.

He is survived by one son, John Forsting, Greensburg; two daughters, Linda Forsting, Greensburg, Mary DeGraw, Crystal River, Florida; two sisters, his twin, Leona Ziegelmeyer, Groesbeck, Oh., Clara Regan, Blue Ash, Oh.; 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; two brothers, Clem Forsting, Frank Forsting; one sister, Henrietta Forsting.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Enochsburg with Rev. George Nangachiveettil officiating.

Interment will be held in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Enochsburg, Indiana.
