Greensburg — Laura M. Allen, 37, passed away Feb. 16, 2013 in Greensburg.

She was born in Greensburg April 15, 1975 to Wade, Sr. and Kathleen (Powers) Farr.

Laura had worked for many years at Wendy’s in Greensburg. She was recently hired full time as an environmental services assistant at Aspen Place Nursing Home in Greensburg.

Laura was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg.

She married Rodney R. Allen March 25, 1995, and he survives.

Other survivors include Laura’s parents, Wade, Sr. and Kathleen Farr, Greensburg; one son, Damon Michael Allen, Greensburg; one daughter, Paige Marie Allen, Greensburg; three brothers: Jay Farr, Greensburg, Wade (Karin) Farr II, Greensburg, Richie (Bobbie) Farr, Greensburg; one sister-in-law, Kim (Jason) Willey, Greensburg; five nieces and nephews: Rose and Brandon Farr, Greensburg; Brooklynn, Johnathan, and Samantha Willey, Greensburg; her grandmother, Alma Powers; Greensburg, nine aunts and three uncles. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews from out of town.    

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard Powers, and her father-in-law, Ray Allen.

Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, with a rosary service at 3:30 p.m.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg, Rev. John Meyer officiating

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg.
