Robert E. Degelow, Jr., 55
Robert E. Degelow, Jr., 55, of Milroy passed away on July 24 at his residence.
He was born in Shelbyville on Feb. 22, 1954 to Robert E. Sr. and Ruth (Clayton) Degelow.
He was a self-employed machinist/general contractor who lived in the area his entire life. He graduated from Rushville High School in 1972 and attended Indiana University.
He is survived by his son William Degelow of Manilla, his daughters Pacia (Robert) Galyen of Westport and Amy (Jesse) King of Greensburg as well as his brothers John (Peggy) of Waldron and Dan (Lisa) Degelow of Alabama as well as his sisters Jane (John) Murphy of Morgantown and Laura (Pat) Dalton of Fortville. He is also survived by his grandchildren Caleb Ralston, Alexander King and Forrest Galyen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will take place Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Glenn E. George and Sons Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Clyde McCammack officiating. Burial will be in Moscow Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Robert E. Degelow Jr. Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
