Janie Lynn Mandrell, 48, of St. Paul, passed away Feb. 7, 2012.
Janie was born Sept. 2, 1963 in Batesville, the daughter of Everett and Ellen (McVey) Ison. She married Ralph A. Mandrell in July 2005.
Janie worked as a welder at Hillenbrand Industries. She had lived in Decatur County since 2004. She attended Brookville High School and was a member of Metamora Church of God. Janie enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and photography.
She is survived by her mother; a daughter, Crystal (Jonathan) Vestal of Laurel; two sons, James Matthew Madden and Jacob (Shawntae) Madden, both of Laurel; three sisters, Judy (Ronald) Jolliff of Metamora, Donna Nichols of Connersville and Sue (Herb) Halcomb of Metamora; three brothers, Earl (Iona) Ison of Connersville, Wayne (Mary) Ison of Metamora and Tommy Ison of Metamora; and six grandchildren, Kaylee Vestal, Logan Madden, Keyona Madden, Jacob Jr. Madden, Ella Rose Madden and Jaxson Madden.
She was preceded in death by her father and a cousin, Wayne Jr.
A time of visitation has been set for 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 at Metamora Church of God. Friends and family may also visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Funerals services begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, Rev. Wayne Ison presiding. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery in Adams.

Ralph Allen Mandrell Jr., 54, of St. Paul, passed away Feb. 8, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Ralph was born Sept. 11, 1957, the son of Ralph W. Mandrell and Linda (Lewis) Mandrell.
He married Janie Lynn Mandrell in July 2005. She preceded him in death Feb. 7, 2012.
Ralph had been an iron worker and he had lived in Decatur County since 1999.
Ralph attended North Decatur High School and completed his heating and cooling training in Florida.
He was a member of Metamora Church of God and enjoyed fishing, scuba diving, boating and tinkering in the family business.
Ralph is survived by his mother, Linda Mandrell of St. Paul; a daughter, Stacy (Matt) Abell of Greensburg; three sisters, Debbie Engle of Greenwood, Connie (Ron) Hicks of Napoleon and Tina Watt of St. Paul; and two grandchildren, Hailey and Madison Abell.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife; his father; his first wife, Geraldine (Statsney) Mandrell; and his grandmother, Olive Briley.
A time of visitation has been set for 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 at Metamora Church of God. Friends and family may also visit from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Rev. Wayne Ison will preside. Burial follows in Hebron Cemetery in Adams.
