Ebert Green, 84

Greensburg — Ebert Green, 84, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 28, 1928 to Wilbur Green and Mary Ada (Johnson) Green in Adams, Ind.

He married Betty Page (Philliskirk) July 31, 1948, and she survives.

Other survivors include daughter, Cathy (Dennis) Koch of Rushville; son, Jim (Karen) of Shelbyville; son, Mike (Lorrie) Green of Wash.; six grandchildren: Fred Hauk, Tracy Green, Christina Green, Timothy Green, Jamie Green, Shelley Green and Dustin Runnebohm (fiancée); 17 great-grandchildren: Paige (Matt) Williams, Tyler Cole, Michael Hauk, George Hauk IV, Ian Hauk, Katie Hauk, Tyler Tillison, Kirsten Nolan, Kristian Nolan, Kylea Lloyd, Eli Green, Kalie Green, Christopher Jones, Austin Runnebohm, Tarik Runnebohm, Jonathon Green and Dylan Green; two great-great grandchildren: Korree Jones and Chance Williams.

He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of the area. He had been employed by the Indiana State Highway Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and socializing with his many friends and family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 714 Fair Ave., Shelbyville.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the church with Timothy Green and Pastor Seth Green officiating.

Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.

Arrangements are entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, Shelbyville.
