Charon R. Craft, 45, of Westport passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 16, 1967 in Columbus, the daughter of Roy and Joyce (McConnell) Brindley. She was raised in Westport. She had lived in Shelbyville,
Kentucky for the past seven years and moved back to Westport in 2012.
She had graduated from South Decatur High School in 1987 where she was a member of South Decatur High School Show Chior. She enjoyed karaoke and watching WWE wrestling. She is survived by her parents, Roy and Joyce Brindley of Westport; her brothers, Jeff Brindley of Rising Sun and Danny Petro of Readding, Pennsylvania; her sisters, Beth (Jim) Menkedick of Westport, Tricia (Terry) Cupp of Greensburg, Cassandra Brindley of Rising Sun and Stephanie Brindley of Westport.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Rob Brindley.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home, Rev. David A. Scaggs officiating.
Burial will follow in Westport Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the family.
