Christopher M. French, 42

Greensburg — Christopher M. French, 42, of Westport, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at his residence.

He was born March 9, 1970 in Greensburg, the son of Janet Marie (Greiwe) Einhaus and Edward Dwenger. He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and was a 1988 graduate of South Decatur High School. He had previously worked for Wheaton Tubing in Westport.

Christopher was a sports fan of the Colts, Pacers and IU. He enjoyed going to the boat, fishing, watching war movies and rock and roll music.

Survivors include his parents: Janet (Doug) Einhaus of Westport, Eddie (Brenda) Dwenger of Greensburg and John (Sarah) French of Greensburg; his sisters: Becky (Shane) Billingsley of Westport and Tracy Dwenger of Greensburg; his brothers, Brian (Debbie) French, Nick French and Jason (Michele) Dwenger all of Greensburg and Joe (Mitzi) Dwenger of Sunman; 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Josephine Greiwe and Harry and Mary Dwenger.

Private funeral services will be conducted for the family. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be at Westport Cemetery, Rev. David Burnett officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Liver Foundation or PXE International.
