Greensburg —
Donald L. Hart of Greensburg passed away at Methodist Hospital, Monday Dec. 10.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Elaine (Roseberry) Hart; sister Verna Sue Boyce, of Greensburg and five children: Kendall (Mary Ann) Hart of New Point; Phillip (Amy) Hart of Greensburg; Melanie (Donald) Mobley of Batesville; Brett (Lee Lattis) of Vevay, and Erin (Kenny) Morrow of Osgood.
He leaves 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer (Douglas) Burns of Columbus, OH; son, Stewart N. Hart, and parents Norman and Devota Hart of Greensburg.
He was born Aug. 21, 1932 in New Pennington and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1951. He served in the Army for four years, including a tour of duty during the Korean War. He proudly drove for Hill-Rom in Batesville for 41 years, retiring in 1996.
He was baptized in the New Pennington Christian Church, and attended and graciously served the Lord and his community through the Greensburg First Christian Church.
Everyone is invited to a Celebration of Life Service held at the Greensburg First Christian Church Friday, Dec. 14th. 10 to 11 a.m. will be open visitation with family, followed by a brief funeral service, officiated by Rev. Danny Wolford. A private family burial will follow.
