Charles (Tom ) Swango, 79, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Morning Breeze.
Charles was born in Greensburg, Dec. 5, 1933, The son of Charles and Ethel Lewis Swango.
He was the husband of Dolores Fae Swango,
He is survived by his wife and children: daughters C. Jill Swango, of Brownsburg, and Carol (Loren ) Wilson, of Bloomington, grandson Sy Thomas Wilson, of Bloomington, step-sons Dennis (Toni) Decker, of Milroy, and Dannie (Sandy) Decker, of Newburg, sister Sue Kitchin-Reed of Shelbyville and brother Bill (Phyllis) Swango, of Greensburg,
He was preceded in death by brother Howard Sis Swango and great-granddaughter Tobi Coon in 2008, and several beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was self-employed farmer and auto business owner at F&S Auto.
He was a member of Sandusky Methodist Sandusky.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Graveside rites at Rossburg Cemetery, New Point, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, Rev. Richard Waddle officiating.
