Jason R. McBeath, 41

Greensburg — Jason R. McBeath, 41, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio Sept. 1, 1971, the son of Bill and Meredith (Eowns) McBeath.

He was a self employed contractor and he graduated from East Central High School in 1989. He was a member of the American Legion.

He was a veteran of the Marine Corp.

He was married to Sharanne Vanderpohl July 15, 2006 and she survives.

Other survivors include his father, Bill, Sanibel, Fla.; two sons, Erik and Deven Mitchell, Greensburg; one sister, Kimberly (Mike) Crawley, Greensburg; father and mother-in-law, Bob and Sharanne Duerstock, Greensburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Steven McBeath.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.

Funeral Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg, Rev. Danny Wolford officiating.

Interment will be held in Yorkville Cemetery in Sunman.

Memorials may be made to the McBeath Family Trust Fund or donations of blood may be made in his honor at any blood center.
