Greensburg —
Dorothy Ruth Fussner, 90, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Beech Grove.
Dorothy was born Dec. 28, 1921 in Decatur County, the daughter of Donald and Augusta (McGibbon) Harrell.
She graduated from Sandusky High School. On May 31, 1941 she married Russell A. Fussner. She retired from Hunter’s Pharmacy in 1984 after 21 years of service. Dorothy was a member of the Kingston Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Russell A. Fussner of Greensburg; daughters Sharon (Steve) Moulder of Greenwood and Sandra Fussner of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Dawn Layton and Kristen Willoughby; and one great-grandchild, Siera Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, also at the funeral home, Rev. Shannon Burford officiating.
Burial will follow at Kingston Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kingston Presbyterian Church, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
