Sharon L. Moylan, 79, of Greensburg. passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 19, 1933 in Newton, Iowa., the daughter of Cloris Virgil “Bud” and Allene (Taylor) Pierce.
She was a homemaker and a member of Finks Church in Osgood, and the Red Hat Society.
She married Bernard B. Moylan in Omaha, Neb. in 1969 and he preceded her in death June 23, 2005.
She is survived by one son, Steven McFarland of Greensburg; three sisters: JoAnne Smith of Columbus, Ga., Margaret Nell of Colfax, Iowa., and Deanna Gorman of Council Bluffs, Iowa.; five Brothers: Bill Pierce of Colfax, Iowa., Mike Pierce of Baxter, Iowa., Butch and Tim Pierce both of Seattle, Wash., and Wayne Pierce of Los Angeles, Calif.
Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Edward McFarland, and one Sister, Patricia Hill.
The family will be receiving friends and family Sunday Dec. 2, 2012 from 2 until 4 p.m. in the Community Room at September Place, 720 W. Washington Street, Greensburg, IN. 47240. Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
