Estel Mae Williamson, 79, of Shelbyville passed away on March 9 at her residence.

She was born in Ripley County on June 11, 1930 to Fred and Lena (Kruse) Holzhausen. She was married to Jewell M. Williamson in Nov. 1953, and he preceded her in death in Sept. of 2000. She was a lifetime area resident who spent much of her life as a homemaker.

She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1948 and was a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church as well as Coffee and Comfort and Fun Bunch Support Group. She loved to cook, garden and work in the yard and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their functions.

She is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Tim) Streeval of Edinburgh and Valorie (Jeff) Shiver of Monticello, Fla.; her brothers Les (Sandra) Holzhausen of St. Paul and Dale (Ruby) Holzhausen of Shelbyville; as well as grandchildren Caleb, Bethany, Charity Streeval and Sam Shiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will take place at the Apostolic Tabernacle Church from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday.

A funeral service will be held at the Apostolic Tabernacle Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday with Rev. Robert Cavaness and Rev. Tim Streeval officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyvile.

Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian School in care of the funeral home.
